Nearby, Ledbury provides further amenities and the property is well placed for the commercial centres of Gloucester and Cheltenham which offer more extensive, retail, leisure and cultural facilities.
There are many fine walks, cycle rides and outdoor activities in the popular Forest of Dean and Wye Valley which are within a short drive. There are a variety of sports clubs nearby including cricket, hockey, football, rugby and golf courses. Newent is also home to the annual Onion Fayre, a popular local event with street entertainment, stalls and competitions. The renowned International Centre for Birds of Prey is a short drive away and there are numerous pubs and restaurants and a vineyard close by.
From The market house in Newent town centre, head out of town westwards (towards Gloucester) on Church Street which then turns into Gloucester Street for 0.4 miles and take the right hand turn into Onslow Road. Follow Onslow Road down the hill and around the left hand bend and continue a little further where number 19 will be found on the left hand side opposite the turning to Russett Way.
