Refields

• With origins thought to date from the 1600s the property was extensively remodelled and extended in the 1980s. The current owners have improved the property in the last few years although some minor updating might still be desirable by the new owner.

• On the ground floor is a generous utility room and W.C and a good sized kitchen/breakfast room which has beautiful views over the paddock and beyond.

• A rear hallway gives access to the “L” shaped sitting room, features include a stone built fireplace inset with a wood-burning stove; large windows taking in the superb view across the paddock and over open countryside. A small study room and a front hallway completed the downstairs accommodation.

• On the first floor is a family bathroom, and 4 double bedrooms, all of which have superb views with the master bedroom benefiting from a shower and a W.C

The Outside

• The property is accessed by its own private driveway leading to a generous parking area in front of the house; here there is detached double garage with power and water available and electric roller doors.

• The gardens are laid mainly to lawn interspersed with shrubs and benefit from excellent views.

• To the west of the house there is a level to gently sloping paddock extending to almost 2 acres. The paddock is stock fenced, contains some mature fruit trees and has a small open-fronted barn offering useful storage, a stable (approx. 4m x 3.5m) and a goat shed. The paddock also has its own separate access gate directly off the lane.

• On the opposite side of the quiet lane is an attractive area of mixed woodland extending to over 3 ¼ acres.
