This property enjoys an idyllic location; tucked away in a lovely private situation on the edge of the village of Staunton. The property adjoins open countryside and is accessed via a long private, shared drive (1/3 rd mile); yet also benefits from being within walking distance of the village amenities.   Staunton and Corse village lies within the Severn Valley with the Malvern Hills to the North and Cotswolds to the East, it is well placed for the commercial centres of Gloucester and Cheltenham. This area offers a sought after rural quality of life combined with excellent communication links to the rest of the country.

The Rickyard

The Rickyard is an enchanting period barn conversion; dating from early 1800's and converted in the mid 1990’s. The property has recently been re decorated and provides well-presented light and airy accommodation. The property is further enhanced by a welcoming ambience and woodburning stove.

There are two receptions rooms both displaying fine character features. The impressive dining hall is especially noteworthy with flagstone floor and full height glazed elevations to both front and back, ensuring plenty of natural light.

The sitting room has a fireplace inset with a new woodburing stove (July 2017).

The kitchen/breakfast room is fitted with “shaker” style units and a Belfast sink. There is provision for a range style cooker.

There are 3 double bedrooms on the first floor; accessed via a galleried landing. The master has an en-suite bathroom; there is also a family shower room and both bathrooms benefit from quality contemporary fittings.

Planning permission was granted in March 2017 to extend the ground floor accommodation, creating an “L-shaped barn” by linking to the existing garage, details available from the agent.
