The hamlet of Uckinghall is situated in west Worcestershire about 3½ miles southeast of the nearby town of Upton-upon-Severn and offers a peaceful, semi-rural idyll with excellent access to the A38, M50 and M5; rural living complemented by excellent road and rail links.
Thought to date from the late 1800s the barn was originally converted in the 1980s and has been completely refurbished by the current owners within the last 10 years. This included upgraded electrics, a new boiler, new oak doors and windows and a new kitchen and bathrooms.
The light and airy barn has been finished to an extremely high standard and offers versatile accommodation. Although now all one property, one end of the barn was previously a self- contained annexe.
Internally, there is a good sized kitchen with a range of modern fitted units, opening into a breakfast/dining room. There are doors from both these rooms to the outside covered decking area. There is a well fitted utility room with access door to the front of the house and off the hallway a cloak room and W.C.
The main sitting room benefits from patio doors to the rear covered deck area and an open fireplace. A door then leads into a second hallway which in turn leads to the family room with separate study area and a conservatory overlooking the rear garden.
A staircase from the family room provides access to the 4th bedroom and box room, and a family shower room.
An Oak staircase off the main hallway leads to a landing providing access to another family shower room and two generous double bedroom. There is also access to the main double bedroom with en-suite shower and bath.
A timber 5 bar gate gives access to the private driveway where there is parking for several cars, there is a triple carport attached to a period brick built double garage/workshop with an adjoined lean-to storage area at the rear.
There is a W.C and an external staircase gives access to a good sized office/gym over the garage.
The gardens provide a wonderful feature to the barn, containing a variety of mature trees and shrubs. There are level lawned areas, a pond with feature water statue and numerous patios and seating areas.
At the rear of the barn is a large covered deck area with Wisteria, which overlooks the rear garden and gives a wonderful space to entertain and relax in privacy.
